Father/Daughter Project

Steve has been really wanting to put a bird feeder out in our back yard. I just happened to have a bird feeder in my craft closet that I've had now for probably over 6 years that I was going to toll paint. So this weekend Kathyn and I were out shopping and picked up a really pretty stain as we decided it would be prettier to stain the bird feeder vs. painting it. So, today Steve and Kathyn went to work on getting it ready. Kathyn stained the bird feeder (her first time staining) and Steve worked on constructing a base for it to fit on the wrought iron fence. I think the finish product is spectacular!! Now we are all waiting to see if the birds will find the food!!
