Since this is Valentine's weekend and President's day is Monday, I decided to take today, Friday the 13th off. Well first of all, I have a stupid cold and that alone put a damper on my day. So, since I wasn't a complete ball of energy, I thought I would take on the task of getting our taxes done. Well I managed to get them done and it didn't even take me all day. I did learn an important thing, once your children turn 17 years of age, you no longer get the child tax credit. Steve told Cody he owed us $1000 because if he could have just stayed young, like we asked him to, we could still get that credit. Cody just laughed! I hate to think that he will be 18 in May...and will be graduating from High School in just a very short year and a half....makes me sad.
