Catching up!

I can't believe it's been almost 2 months since my last post. Well, I have an excuse, my life has been completely chaotic! So I guess I should catch up on all that I have neglected to blog!

Steve - He started a new job. He is now working for Micron, a computer chip manufacturer. The company he was working for previously has been hit hard by the economy, among other things, and could not keep him working full time. He is liking the new adventure. He works 3 days one week and 4 days the next from 6:30 pm to 6:30am. The kids and I have had to adjust to him not being home every evening, but it is nice for the kids to have him home when they get home from school...usually he is just waking up! He also started back to school this semester. So in his free time he does homework and helps keep the kids under control!

Cody - He is a Junior in High School this year. He's involved with the Fall play at school. He's been busy preparing and helping with that. He is also singing in his school's elite choir, the Madrigals, and taking private voice lessons. He is also singing in a community choir this fall called Hymns of Thanksgiving. He is trying to study hard and take advantage of any music opportunity that comes his way in hopes of getting some music scholarships for college.

Kathyn - She is a freshman this year in High School. She made the sophomore volleyball team and has been burning up the court. She is awesome and it's really fun watching her play. She's been invited to try out for a Club Volleyball team, which plays all winter and spring. She is really hoping she makes it. She's also loving her classes and being in High School. After Volleyball season is over at school, she will jump right into practicing with the Dance Line at the high school. We never have to worry about her not being involved.

Me - Well I've been very busy at my job with College of Western Idaho. It's a lot of work helping start a brand new community college. The adventure has been quite the challenge, but I'm loving it. I also started back to school part-time after the summer break. I just finished one class for the semester today. It took place on the weekends, all day, both Sat. & Sun in September. I feel like I've had no free time at all, but now that this one class is over, I will only have one to concentrate on the rest of this semester. I've also been busy going to Kathyn's games, going to football games to hear Cody sing the National Anthem and watching BSU kick UofO's BUTT!

This week on October 1st, Steve and I will celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. I can't believe it's been 20 yrs. Just seems like yesterday we got married!!
