HOMECOMING DANCE!!!

Last night it was the homecoming dance for the kids. It was so much fun getting them ready for the dance. Cody is currently between girlfriends so didn't have anyone in particular he wanted to go with. His best friend since 6th grade, Ashley is currently between boyfriends, so they thought it would be fun to go together. Kathyn is not old enough to date yet (so say her parents) so she went with her friend Hailey who is in the same boat as her as far as dating goes. It was really fun getting ready for the dance this year. Last week we went shopping with Ashley and her Mom, Hailey and Kathyn to look for dresses. Then Kathyn and I went online to look for instructions on Up-do's for curly hair so we could do something fancy and cute with her hair. Then bought some fancy fake jewels for Kathyn and a Fedora for Cody.

Cody left the house first to get Ashley. They came back over with Ash's Mom to take pictures here. Hailey came over and got ready with Kathyn. Steve had made some great treats for us to eat while we (Hailey's Mom and myself)helped them get ready. They had fun getting their hair done and getting all dolled up for the dance.

Cody had a great time as did Kathyn. It's always fun waiting up for them to come home so that we can hear all the exciting things that happened and who they danced with etc. Cody is having to adjust to the fact that his sister is a super cutie and his friends are asking him about her and asking her to dance. Kathyn of course thinks it's great!
